South Congress Founding

Founder Dan Junk established our original South Congress location with a strict fresh-never-frozen beef policy. This laid the foundation for our reputation across Austin.

North Lamar Expansion

We expanded north to North Lamar Boulevard, bringing our signature scratch-made morning biscuits and custom Angus burgers to growing north Austin working families.

Airport Boulevard Hub

We opened our Airport Boulevard location to serve East Central Austin, Mueller, and UT area commuters with rapid drive-thru service and daily breakfast.

Menchaca Rd Flagship

We established our flagship South Austin store on Menchaca Road in 78704. This location quickly became a neighborhood staple deeply embedded in local culture.

Buda, TX Regional Growth

We extended our footprint into Hays County with a store off Old San Antonio Road in Buda, giving southern commuters access to classic 1973 recipes.

Facility Rebuilds

We initiated major facility modernization projects, including plans to double the size of our Airport Boulevard site while preserving every original kitchen technique.

I ordered a cheeseburger with regular fries, and both were delicious. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, while the fries were crispy and fresh.

I noticed many people ordering the potato rounds and onion rings, so I’ll definitely be trying those on my next visit.

The food came out quickly, the staff was friendly, and although the restaurant was a little busy, the atmosphere was still enjoyable. My meal was around $10, which I think is an excellent value for the quality and portion size.
